The Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant is one of the most ambitious engineering projects in the world. A plant that supplies 15% of the energy consumed in Brazil and supplies 85% of Paraguayan consumption. Built to retain the course of the Paraná River, the dam is an immense 8-kilometer-long, 167-meter-high concrete structure that circumvents the Itaipu Binacional reservoir and on which are installed ducts and electric power generating units .

It is not allowed to enter with bags and backpacks in the Special Circuit. There are lockers in the Visitor Reception Center for rent. Minimum age: 14 years. It is necessary to wear closed-toe shoes, as well as under-knee length clothing.
– Ticket Itaipu Lighting
The entire concrete barrage of the plant has more than 500 reflectors and luminaires that give a spectacle of lights in the dark of night. On full moon nights the ride becomes even more attractive. The tourist accompanies the whole spectacle directly from the central viewpoint, from where it is possible to visualize the whole plant. The ride features projection screens, and every system is synchronized with an engaging soundtrack that creates exciting images on the concrete wall of the power plant making the ride unique and unparalleled.

– Iguassu Falls National Park
Iguaçu Falls are one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world and is visited by over a million tourists every year. Are 275 waterfalls, where drain around 1,500 cubic meters of water per second. Regardless of the climate of the time, this wonder of nature arouses different feelings in the beholder. The tour begins at the Visitor Reception Center in Iguaçu National Park, in Foz do Iguaçu. The Bird Park is a private park with more than 200 species of animals. About 50% of the birds were rescued from maltreatment and trafficking and the main work of the Park is to be a sanctuary for them. The Park is also home to the largest araras nursery in South America. It is just one of the spaces where visitors can enter and enjoy birds from near and in freedom. It is still possible to admire reptiles of various species, such as snakes, lizards, alligators, and the butterfly, which is also an attraction that arouses several emotions.

– Borders of the Mark 3
Only in Foz do Iguaçu do you get a unique view of a beautiful sunset between three different countries: Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. The landmark of the three frontiers is a stone obelisk, painted with the colors of Brazil in an impressive setting, where the waters of the Iguaçu River and those of the Paraná River join. This scene touches the tourist, who can see Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay so close to each other. The landmark of Argentina is located on the banks of the Iguaçu River and the landmark of Paraguay is on the right bank of the Paraná River. The three form an equilateral triangle that fixes the territorial limit and the sovereignty of the three countries. Points are open to visitors. Marco de Foz do Iguaçu has a handicraft shop, playground, snack bar, parking lot and observation point. The Scenic Village of the Three Borders Landmark is a tribute to the Jesuit Missions.
